Your Right to Delete Data

At SharpScan , we believe you should have full control over your data. In compliance with data privacy regulations, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

What Data Gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following information from our servers:

  • Personal Profile: Name, email address, and any health preferences (allergies, diet, conditions) you saved.
  • Scan History: The list of all products you have scanned.
  • Account Credentials: Your login information is removed, so you will no longer be able to sign in.

Note: Some anonymous usage data (like crash reports) may be retained for system stability, but it cannot be linked back to you personally.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

The fastest way to delete your data is through the mobile app:

  1. Open the SharpScan app.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Scroll down to the Data Management section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your choice in the dialog box.

Warning: This action is immediate and cannot be undone. All your saved data will be lost permanently.

Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion by contacting our support team via our Contact Page. Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and provide the email address associated with your account. We will process these requests within 15 days.
