Installing Language Packs

Ensure your device has the correct language packs installed for the best Text-to-Speech experience.

Android Instructions

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Tap on System (or General Management depending on your device).
  3. Select Language & input.
  4. Tap on Text-to-speech output.
  5. Tap the gear icon next to your preferred engine (usually Speech Services by Google).
  6. Select Install voice data.
  7. Find the language you need and tap the download icon next to it.

Steps may vary slightly depending on your Android version and device manufacturer.

iOS (iPhone/iPad) Instructions

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on Accessibility.
  3. Select Spoken Content.
  4. Tap on Voices.
  5. Select the language you want to install.
  6. Tap on the voice name (e.g., Samantha) to download and install it.
  7. Ensure the downloaded voice is selected for use.

You may need to restart the app after installing new voices.
